In the latest episode of The Walking Dead the focus goes to the three people who continued to walk the majority of the horde of Walkers away from Alexandria after they got split up.
Yes this means a Daryl heavy episode which made my family of Daryl’s extremely happy.
The last episode I reviewed was a real change of pace. We went from all the drama in the Zombie walk and Alexandria to the calm and peaceful genesis of the Morgan we have with us today.
This episode we are back with the Alexandrian’s and their plights.
This week is a week I’ve been waiting for. We find out what happened to Morgan from when we saw him bat shit crazy back a while to him being all zenned out now.
It’ll be a corker!
After two very different episodes we go back to Rick’s group trying to drive away a horde of Walkers that have been kept at bay since the beginning but who were slowly getting past the barricades.
I know I’m late to it and from everything I’ve heard the two episodes since the season opener have been much better but I’m here now.
Season 6 of The Walking Dead started off where we left it. Or at least not far off into the future. Seeing I only really caught up with the series again half way through last series it feels strange to say that I’ve actually missed the show, though that might be thanks more to Fear the Walking Dead (which Rick reviewed on here) which didn’t interest me much but made me long for the cast of The Walking Dead.
By the end of the last episode we’d seen the military roll in and start to take charge, this completely changes the dynamic of the whole series and as it is one of the only areas we haven’t really seen yet in the main show, never having really met up with a “safe zone” guarded by military, it’ll be a interesting dynamic to witness.
A prequel to The Walking Dead following a different group of survivors in a different place and watching how the outbreak happened. On paper the idea for the show has no flaws in it. The questions we have left over about how people survived, how it got so bad etc seem to be seconds away from being answered.

We make it to the season finale. What will happen after the explosive penultimate episode?
The Ricktatorship is starting to awaken, Deanna is having second thoughts about his group and how they are managing to “take over” as it was and Father Gabriel is a freakin’ ass hole. There is no other word to describe him. Man do I hate his stupid face and I wish it was him that had the fated destiny of Noah last week.
